Where is Wyntre?

Where is Wyntre?

With all the birds fluttering around, I'm wondering where wyntre has flown off to.
Really, Wyn, are you doing alright?

I just watch the birds outside. Right now the turkeys are parading and I awoke to two amorous vultures out on the fence post. There's a couple of golden eagles that must be nesting around here, and of course, tons of hawks.

I hope wyn isn't too out of it from her long tx.

Awwwwww. thanks you guys.  I have been feeling so much better since I started wellbutrin that I have tried to take advantage of my new-found energy by tackling a lot of the stuff that's been pushed to the curb the last 16 months. *LOL*

I WISH I'd been on wellbutrin from the beginning of tx.  For me it has been a wonder drug.

GOOD NEWS IS I go into SINGLE DIGITS after tonight's injection! 63 down and 9 more to go!!!!!!!   YIPPPEEEEEEE!

I have also been involved in some election stuff with emailing and posting on a couple of sites and that has kept me busy and distracted.

hope everyone is doing well and thanks so much for checking in.

I am happy that you're feeling so much better. I too was getting concerned about you and it's nice to know that people can disappear because they're feeling good - that's not really common here but, it's really nice and reassuring. Be well, Mike

Thanks all.  After almost 3 months of misery it just feels so goooooood to be semi-energetic.  My Dr. did say the wellbutrin would give me lots of energy and he sure was right about that!  Plus, even though i'm still on antibiotics, all the really nasty UTI and abdominal stuff are gone.

Realizing that there's gonna be and END to these meds has given me a fresh and better perspective.

I was gonna wait to post until i could say I'm in single digits but WD emailed me and I wanted to let everyone know how very much I appreciate and value your good wishes.

You 'sound' great!
I'm really happy that only busy-ness has kept you from posting.
Its hard to know around here with people getting this and that while TX.
So glad you're well. . . now for the countdown.      :)          OH

That wellbutrin is a miracal worker, for sure!  I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone who needs an AD.

I still get weak physically - HgB down to 10.4 or, from the way i felt today, could be lower.  but at least I'm mentally and emotionally in a much better place.  I've even started walking again (in 5 degree weather) 3 or 4 times a week and on my good days I can do a mile!  Yippppeeeee!  today wasn't so good as i get weaker the days before injection so i could only do a half mile.  but I feel so much better when i get outta the house and DO SOMETHING!!!!!!!!  In 3 more hours I can officially say I'm in the single digits!  *LOL*

I'm so happy that you're feeling better.  Wellbutrin is amazing stuff if you have the kind of biochemistry that responds to it.  I took it as Zyban about 6 years ago to quit smoking, and it worked for that very nicely. You're a real champ to endure tx for so long - you really deserve every benefit Wellbutrin can confer.  Can't wait to hear how you're feeling when you've finished tx, which isn't very far away.

Great to hear you are feeling better. AD's have been a real boon for me also. My HGB has been steady around 11.1 since treatment, and I get exhausted walking to the car. I am and glad, and a little impressed, that you are walking.

Single digits, eh? I like the sound of that!

I'm glad to hear you have continued feeling better...You are setting a fine example for all those who are beginning treatment, and I really hope they put some thought into your words..One can waste far to much time here on these boards (and I'm guilty as well), get caught up in the whoa is me syndrome or become a tx hypochondriac. Granted folks come here for a number of reasons, questions on HepC, research, helping others, social butterflying, or simple to massage their own egos-but there is a real world out there and it continues to revolve regardless of being on tx..And your comments on getting some excersise and the results both physically and mentally should be heeded as well...you have come a long ways baby!!!! and soon it looks like another generation of txers will have passed through the hallowed walls of medhelp and on their way back life as we knew it before... (jeez, do I sould like a fruitcake!)

Pro,
I've been exercising all through TX until the past 3 months when i simply was too sick.  But the wellbutrin has helped me push through the weakness although i still have days like today when I'm not strong enough to do more than yoga, stretches and very light weights for 5 minutes.
You have 4 more, right?
pigeon,

yeah - this wellbutrin is fantastic!  I'm at week 65 of 72!!!!

Walrus,I don't walk too fast but I found a nearby park that has a one-mile track and I started with going a quarter of the way, then half, and last week i actually did the whole mile!!!!!!  Like i told pro, on my bad days i can't exercise at all but I am so encouraged to know that the strength WILL come back!

Elaine,

Thanks sweetie.  I'm hanging in there and am pretty optimistic.  (or the wellbutrin is making me optimistic).  Who cares! *LOL*

I'm so glad for you that you're feeling like this.  You have had hard days for SUCH a long time and it was painful knowing how hard you were struggling...and yet you kept pushing through.  So good to know that you are almost done and that you have some well-earned mental relief...whether it's wellbutrin-driven or not!  I hope the next eight weeks are very good for you...wow...nearly 72 weeks done.  I'm astonished at that.  Hoping for good things for you, Wyn.

Thanks and congrats to you for starting your journey.  I think I've had a particularly rough time more because the REST of my life has been in total chaos than from the meds, alone.  Moving, financial stuff and job issues are no fun on TX.

I keep pushing for the same reason every one else does; to give ourselves the best chance for SVR.  I know i will not do this TX again.

How long is your sentence?  *LOL*
Blank

Wyn, you're an ispiration! I got the 72 weeks sentence. Nothing said about good behavior or anything  ;)

Trish: You are in a test trial! I didn't know. I hope it's a miracle drug with no SX. Good luck!

I am so glad to hear you are almost finished!!!!!!!!!! I started taking effexor at the begining of tx and it helped so much. Glad to hear you are on something to help. I am now 8 months post 72 and just now finally returning to " normal" ??? My thyroid straightened itself out without meds for now but need to watch it for additional 4 months as it may spike again? I had a radio Iodine uptake and scan done last week and all is normal finally. I hope you are doing well and hang in there it is worth the wait:) hugs shelly
