ALL, thanks for the well wishes, just glad its over. My first tx i was afraid to stop, thinking just a few more weeks. This time i was ready to end it. congrats to all the SVR's and those who are still treating just hang in there.
I really hope the best for everybody.
cando
Hes willing to listen and tx out of the box, he doesn't feel threatened by a patient with their own ideals..... But if you think he's going to baby you and hold your hand all the time.... Well not going to happen.
BTW, he is also involved in the telaprevir trials and has nothing but good things to say about the drug
Epi :)
Congratulations on finishing your tx and kudos to your Dr. for staying aggressive throughout.
I'm thrilled for you.....Pam
Had a choice this time between telaprevir trial or boceprevir, the only reason i chose boceprevir was they allowed rescue drugs and i was on procrit most of my first tx. The anemia was worse with boceprevir and Imodium (immodium) became my best friend. Besides that no problems, was und within 2 weeks of starting boceprevir. Was able to work thru out tx.
Hoping it worked and i'm able to keep my own liver, Have a great wife, 2 sons and 2 grandsons. Would like to be around for a while driving the wife and boys crazy and spoiling the grandkids.
Best of luck to you.
Eric
Congrats on being finished!! I'll be here with the others, waiting for that SVR post!
Also great to see your words about Dr. Paul Kwo. We have another member here who treated with him in Prove 3 who also got that SVR and spoke very well of him. He looks like a great doctor *and* human being.
Hoping that the sides rapidly diminish...

I am so happy for you, my friend. It has been some trip, hasn't it. You have trailblazed the way to the PI's. I am encouraged by your numbers and feel like you got it this time. I am amazed that you worked throughout and hope you have a big vacation planned in some tropical wonderland.
I like goof's tribute "The Ice(cream) Man Finishith."
Next year when those PI's hit the market, you can push us all to the finish line.
frijole
