checking in

Hi all of my fellow friends,
Well I did get my Oct. blood work done and I am still HCV free negitive...yeah
Praise the Lord Almighty. I couldn't have done it without you guys. You are the best support for anyone. I will still keep in touch with my best buds here and try and help anyone who needs it. I have been through all of the side effects known to man...lol It was a horrible trip but well worth it. I am having trouble with my blood pressure now though, getting it checked again after I am off the antidepressants. May have to start blood pressure meds. But I am getting better day by day. Blood tests show that my plateletts are still low. I don't know about that.
Luv you guys
Patches

I'm so happy to hear the you are still virus-free, and I congratulate you. The low platelets are a drag though. I just finished 2 weeks ago and so far my already-extensive bruising has just gotten worse, and now I'm taking noticeably longer to clot on surface scratches too. I'm really feeling impatient about those platelets! Keep us posted about your progress, okay? I'll be eager to hear when your blood levels improve.

nice patches!......my bp was awful post tx for a while...i was just so out of shape....now i'm normal bp and pulse...i took zoloft during tx and am glad i did but i'm not sure if that didn't add to a couple of problems during and after tx...i was all weaned off zoloft about 3 or 4 months post tx....are you doing laying down...sitting up....then standing bp to see if it drops like a rock....you were on tx so long seems it will take time to get 100 percent....good luck.....billy

This is great news. I am so happy for you. Your posts used to amaze me how bad your sides got and you were just like the Energizer Bunny. Working full time and hanging in there with your side effects. I hope you are healing well♫

That is great news!!  I am 6 weeks post Tx, and notice I am still bruising easily. I am really not expecting my platelets to go right back up to what they were, before Tx  (I was 120 prior to Tx,  90 in the middle, and ended Tx with a low, of 66!)
I am trying to eat alot of nutritious food, to build up my blood again,
extra protein and veggies, etc.

This is a great omen. This was 8 weeks post tx?  I think you got it this time.  - third time is a charm.  I'm like Belle -- can't wait to see your 6 mo SVR post.
