I sometimes get cramping in my hand, ut I thinks that something altogether different :)

I don't know that the cramping would be hep c related. Of course anything is possible, but I think we sometime lump anything not easily explained into the hep c bucket, ya' know?

On the spider veins, it would stand to reason that you'd rather not see then progressing, but I don't think they are a meaningful indicator by themselves. Has this guy had a recent liver panel done? That's a series of blood tests. Billirubin levels, GGT, and albumin are blood levels to watch. Platelest and white blood counts are also good blood tests to monitor. Post them if you have them (olds ones vs new onces would giv a trend) and ask someone to help you interpret them.

Is this dude on treatment? Treatment drugs and dehydration can cause cramping and lower abdominal issues. A banana a day can help.

your question?
Myself being in my 5th week of treatment.
From what I understand I'm not the only one suffering these aches and pains and or sickness.  If your husband is taking the same poisons as us heppers the sx. can happen.  Do recognize that blood work needs to be done on a regular basis to make sure there is no problems.  For ex. anemia.
got to watch that hemoglobin level as well as others.  There are many others in this forum that have far more experience than me, but I thought I would put my 2 cents in of what I know.
I hope this can help.

ps.  If your husband hasn't been to a dr. please see that he gets there.

you don't really mention if he is under care of doctor or currently on treatment. there is no way anyone here could properly advise you. i would be concerned about any abnormal pains, he should see the doctor.

OK, this is totally non-sceintific.  I think that I noticed, in myself, a relationship between night sweats and cramping and muscle soreness.  You did not mention if hubby is a night-sweat kind of guy.  The connection I belieive, is like a riogrous workout in the heat of the summer without the necessary replacement fluids.  Although I still have night sweats on tx, not as often as pre-tx.  But I still notice the connection.  Therefore, when I get the night jeebies, or exceed 'my weekend pace level' I make sure I increase the water, gatorade stuff, bananas and stuff like that.
