You might not be drinking enough water. I had a horrible headache when I didn't drink enough water both before and after my shot. I have to go 51 weeks. Almost a year.

Why are you working until 1 a.m.? I retire in 2 months. I'll be 65.

Your side effects sound pretty normal.  Sometimes it gets better about now because your body adjusts to the medicines.  The dizziness could be caused by anemia -  It certainly sounds like that, and that can be helped with another medicine - Epogen of Procrit.  Ask your nurse what your hemoglobin is.  If it is close to 12, you may be anemic

Hang in there Bill. We all know what your dealing with. As mentioned the drinking of water really helps. I drank as much as I could take during my TX. The water will help a lot. I'm sure you were told this. I went through a lot of physical and mental changes during my 48 weeks. Things will get better. Your system is still adjusting to the drug. It will take awhile, try not to dwell much on how your feeling -- sounds easy. I know it isn't easy though.

Hey,
I haven't been checking in everyday, so I just saw this!
Sorry to hear you have been having a rough time... looks like you got some great advice... !!!

I swear TX & everything about this SUX...My dizzy spells & headaches always came from dehydration or anemia... I hope that re-hydrating will help you to continue TX & feel better!

Just what ever you do.... If you get dizzy SIT DOWN, (before you fall down) & try not to push yourself to hard on these meds... it's easy to do without even realizing it.. might very well be that your hemo's are dropping!

Hang In There!
;)

Water really makes so much difference.   Get a mesured glass (plastic) and keep track of the cups you drink.  I would start watching and would make sure I would drink 4 cups by noon and 4 more by the time I left for home.  Most times I would add a couple more before I left for home.   Those days that I would only drink 5 or 6 before I went home I sure could tell it the next day.  Drier skin, headaches, leg cramps to name a few.  i
