hello

I am in week 31 of Tx and this place has been my life saver...i have found the best group of people, they help you through tx, cheer you on, let you whine, tell you "yes thats a normal side" and sometimes make you laugh.

so you have a great forum here.
if you have any quesions, i will always try to answer them for you.

peace

I am aslo 2b Debbie and hoping that will make all the difference!  I just took my fourth shot last week....   #5 comes tomorrow. The first couple weeks were sx free...except the first shot was a killer...just like they said it would be...flu like sx sleeplesness...but then they subsided.  I had a little fatigue...... but as time goes on I am really feeling the change...more fatigue, the brain fog everyone talks about, memory is getting bad, blurry vision.

But no hair loss.... My doc told me to be sure  not to use any shampoo or hair treatment with chemicals...hopefully your doc's  told you the same.....that could help with the hairloss. I was suprized to hear that after only 3 weeks you are experiencing that. Make sure there are no chemicals AT ALL in your shampoo.   I use "Christophe Pure and Natural." Though it claims to be free of sulfates, parabens, dyes etc.... I'm sure it still has somethings that we could do without. I have not found one 100% free of everything YET! But I am still looking.  I am really careful of any chemicals coming near my body while on Tx. Easier said than done...but I try to eat all organic, use chemical free soap....less chemicals the better.

I am starting to feel the sx more and more.  I was so excited the first month, I still had the energy to do what I always do. Now I see myself slowing down as well, I hear you about the walks....I am huffing and puffing much quicker than before.... and just feeling kind of BLA!  Not myself at all.  No pain or upset stomic nothing like that...Just BLA and I am usually so full of energy. My white count went down, (which is to be expected) but all other levels normaled out after only the second shot! Which I was thrilled about of course.  I am just staying clear of people who are sick and big crowds as much as I can with my count so low.  I don't want to have to cut the dose of meds and go longer!  I am eating and taking Maitake and Reishi and the Cordyceps mushrooms and other immune building foods and Supplememts...that my NP said would be fine.

Next Tuesday I will get my Viral Load count. My doc said with we 2 bers they are starting to check around 6 weeks instead of the usual 12. So I am keeping everything crossed they came down in 6 weeks!  This is something new he said, Not sure if all doctors check so soon. Again it is only with Geno type 2b.

Well support is what this place is all about and I am so glad we can come here and get and give what we need or someone else may need!

Hope your day is being good to you all!

Good luck on your tx and sx!  My sx started at about 3 weeks.  More hair in the drain, walks started taking longer to complete.  Low blood count, so general tiredness.  I started 4/2 and on my 17th shot --->31 to go!
