fishdoc 6 month PCR

Still clear.  There is hope, most don't remember me, I did 60 weeks, slow responder, BMI 39, for specifics view archives "fishdocs consult"....essentially a very poor chance of SVR.  Consult Dr. gave me a 17% chance at 12 weeks PCR given status quo....I now sit at 95% of SVR...next big one is next year.  Hang in there, one foot in front of the other.....its worth it in the end..........

great to hear of yr ongoing ZOO....maybe them rats are enjoying the excess feedstuff (get them horse's teeth floated? )..what ya need is a couple of fullgrown ,hungry freerange cats-i am boxin 'em up as we speak, should arrive UPS by friday? careful opening the crate-they are Not house tabbys and only purr while crackin the skulls of vermin..also,my red heelers love chasin, diggin and knawing on rodents..hereabouts that includes the lower red squirrel..tho i do have an incredible variant that laughs&torments them dawgs...These big ,dark red dudes are storin apples&black walnuts in the barn and are incredibly fast &athletic-if they will leave the house alone i will giv 'em a pass,as i get a real kick outa watchin them foil the dogs...i wonder if you sprayed the wiring of vehicles with a nasty scent yu could keep the maintinence bills to a minimum?....where did the gophers go? driven off by all the other critters mebbe.....well it's wonderful to hear 'bout yr recovery & ongoing luv of life-Keep on keepin on,tommy

Thanks for all the good wishes, forsee/pretty, glad to see your still around-forsee, made that leap yet? Beamer- your not going to believe it, 2 horses, 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 kittens, 30 chickens, 12 pigeons, 30 poison dart frogs, two giant day geckos, one leopard tortoise, one tiger rumped tarantula... assorted guppies, and the latest: I set up a 90 gallon reef tank!  Good to feel good again!!  Forget the dam gophers, the rats this year are insane!!!!  Try $3500 worth of wiring on my FJ, and two sets of plug wires on the camry!  Hubby went into warrior mode, bought a $55 dollar electric death chamber- actually elotrocutes the suckers... if they ever went in it!!  Bean, let me check the calender, might be doable-going to Tempe sometime in November for amphibian workshop, might be that weekend, can't remember (HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH TX, JUST CAN'T REMEMBER SH!T THESE DAYS), Goof and Dyce, you ever make it to the american outback, give me a call, we'll play poker around the campfire and listen to the dogs chase coons!  Mike, hope your feeling lean and mean these days, and those girls of yours are still puttin up with you!  The rest, thanks for the best wishes, and hang in there.  I'm the poster child of perseverence and happily ever after!!  My stats were bad enought some insurance would have dumped the tx!  It is worth it!

Hey Hey Hey -- Zazza told me you had posted this.  Way to go Doctor!  Life is good, eh?

For those that didn't know fishdoc during treatment, her viral load at 12 weeks was really high.  What was it - 10,000 or so?  Now doc, not to sit down and take it got online and found an expert for a consult and traveled for it.  The results of that consultation were that the ribavirin was not being absorbed (as evidenced by her lack of anemia).  The solution was to really up the riba and it worked.

Hey girl, I may be up in the Guadalupes first weekend of November.  Want to meet at Rattlesnake Springs on Sunday, Nov 4th???????  It is either that or hike with 105 wine-crazed members of the Permian Basin Wine Club that hike to Pratt Cabin and get drunk every first Sunday in November -- and I would rather pass on that!

Hey goof, get 'er done?????

Congrats!  You had a really rough road during treatment, and I am glad you are officially on the other side.  Can Do posted not that long ago and was clear his last PCR, but waiting to take the 6 month post one.  I just has my one year clear PCR, and am most grateful to never have to take another riba again.
