Just read your bio and see that u are on a very high riba dosage. When i started my tx (second time around) on 6/15/07 I was told that if my first PCR at 12 wks didn't indicated that the meds were working that i would come off of them and we would try something else. Turns out that i was UND @ around 10 wks and again @ 22 wks so i have continued on. I will be done in June '08!
I recently joined this forum and wish I knew about it back in the begining bcoz it would have been very helpful. I have learned throught this forum that some people are on tx for yrs. That really freaks me out. My intention after my first failed attempt @ tx back in 2002 (only lasted 3 wks) was that i would NEVER try it again. I would just live my life and i truely believed that i would be just fine as some people live normal very long lives. Anyway, i decided to try it again and my plan as of right now is to be CURED in June '08 and to obtain a SRV post tx. I honestly don't think that i can go through yrs of trying differnet trials and sx. If i am not cured after one yr than obviously i will never be cured, after all the success rate is an approximate 50%.
I am genotype 1 as well, don't know about the A or B.
Is this your first time on tx?
great! Maybe we'll be able to look up a search engine that actually works..;^)
Let's see, the last great change made here (highlighted words) has resulted in making it nearly impossible to copy and paste anything from the site...I think medhelp is losing site of their member's needs.
negative- the title was mine, the body is a quote from medhelp from the what's new or help board.
I was navigating medhelp to see what I could learn and saw a thread indicating there was a dictionary and I couldn't find it, so I posted a Q asking it about and the above was their response.
Jim- you recall the thread about the fellow with the two step jump? He actually went from 1/1 to a 4/4!
In two years! This freakin virus always has something up its sleave to let you know not to get to comfortable. Man I need a drink... oh wait I shouldn't drink!

Maybe I'm reading your post incorrectly, but do you work for MedHelp in some capacity?
Thanks, I'll have no excuses now.
