is really safe to have a pharmaceutical company use you as a lab rat?

Thats a really, really, really broad question there! What company? What study? What drugs? what disease? What stage is it? What prognosis? What phase? Where's the rats?
Is this another 'add'.....seeing 'clinical trial' adds on the side!

Can't expect them use real rats.  There are animal cruelty laws.

I was thinking of becoming a lab rat. However in South Florida most of us rats speak 3-4 languages! I only spoke English I was eliminated. Didnt have enough qualificaions.

Some people are desperate enough to get rid of the disease that they have no other choice so they put on the Mickey Mouse ears and go for it.

H*ll, I guess I AM a 'rat'. Phase 3 trial of Albumin Interferon/Riba starting the 25th. Never thought of myself as a rat. I'm actually a very nice lady, never been a rat. Perhaps with Riba rage I will be a rat :}

I am a lab rat, but not by choice.  I am stage 3 and failed 7 treatments, so no choice but to try  Vertex.
