interferon injection site problems

Have you had problems with your site ? On my 9th site it got sore and red , my jep C nurse said it said it was normal and agressive and leave it a week, but the others were fine , then my doctor gave my antibiotics after just under two weeks but after two days it went septic and I had to go into hosptital .....if you get sore swollen sites get them looked at soon ...let me know your stories

Wow! I've had a couple sore ones, and a few huge bruises because I guess I hit a capillary, but nothing like that. Hope that doesn't happen again for you.

diane I swear I am so carefull I wont go in fatty tissue no more , its arms and muscles I hope this is ok I'll ask when I get to see the nurse , I get more side effects in the muscles ir it may be in my head (not the needle lol)

Sorry to hear you had such a problem. I have red blotches and scar tissue on my belly, but nothing serious has occurred. I have hit some blood a few times and I can actually taste it in my mouth when it happens, but it never hurt me in amy way,
