I thought Tylenol was harder on your liver (than say, Ibuprophen).

My doctor approved Vicoden (I've got degenerative disc disease, which causes cronic sciatica pain in my leg).  I've decided to get an operation for it, because I just can't take this being in pain 24/7, and I don't like taking pain pills.  But my liver doctor said I should wait until I'm done with tx.  So I'm in the same boat.

What I've been doing, and the doctor said it was OK, was combining Ibuprofen and Tylenol.
