only one here?
I am new to this this forum and have compleated Pegatron, 24 weeks. I live in Ontario Canada. Just wondering am i the only patient that has used medical marijuana during treatment? It helped so much i could not begin to think of what it would be like to do a shot with no mj. as the side affects come on eighteen hours later, full blast!
I did have a Dr. sign papers saying that he would monitor my progress. I just wish the same Dr. would listen to my beefs about interferon! So i hold a card enabling me to cannabis at my discression and it helps VERY much.
And we need all the help we can get. I hope i did not offend any person on this bord. I had great results medicating with mj. It helped so much i could not believe it.

LoL... No, the monkier actually has nothing to do with potatoes... it's actually a last name & an initial... I just added the tot & that's what is actually so unique about that... (it would be my last name IF I could ever get down that isle)... but well after a decade, why rush now... Heck I still can't seem to get the timming just right... (it's ALWAYS Something) Ha! Maybe I'm too old.. or maybe as fate would have it... it's just not meant to be,,, least not seemingly now....Hummm!

The Thought Of Unchewed Well Corn reminds me of probably WHY chickens love scratchin & peckin around in "Out-House" debre...
Humm... which puts use to corn cobs vs ol Sears & Robuck Catalog pages ehh????
I quit using the outhouse when a corn snake almost bit my brother on the butt (or so he says) it was actually after a mouse, but it freaked my brother out so bad & he came running out with his pants dropped around his ankles SCREAMING at the top of his lungs trippin all over himself.... shortly after that we got indoor plumbing...LoL
With that came new ways in which to recycle corn cobs ...
(Making YARD DARTS out of em).... Stick 3 chicken feathers in one end (angled opposites) readjust for perfect flight & then take a clipped off peice of wire(like a clothes hanger) or something in the other end (for the pointer)... & whaalaa... perfect Yard Darts.. For FREE TOO
Oh the childhood memories... speaking of... did ya ever make cannons out of tin cans, & shoot aluminum foil cannon balls???? Ewww, now those are REALLY cool..... LoL
Or better yet... ever stick bird berries in your red rider BB gun... they splat when they hit you..thus making playing army much more realistic... Especially when racing downhill in your red radio flyer red wagons... BTW... unless you like being pinned down in a mudd hole...never shoot the cannons at the HOGS... they don't LIKE That.... I think the NOISE is what bothers them!

If memory serves you were toking off the acetylene tanks. I don't think that counts, bud. Did you get those new choppers installed? Remember to chew the corn really well....
I tried a toke or two a few times on tx. It did nothing for me. For those it helped, good for them.
I am not so sure if it is as bad as cigarettes it might be but not sure. I guess you have to pick your poison.
Hubby was told to quit cigarettes but wait until after tx.
I just have a hard time believing mj is worse than all the rx's they give out for pain, sleep and depression issues etc. Unfortunately we will probably never know.
I dont smoke and am not taking any helpers yet, but if I need too I would probably hit the mj before a script.

Guess I'll have to do a search of my own! I was very curious about the medicinal use of MJ since I was feeling so sick yesterday. My problem is that I smoked back in the day, but I never really enjoyed it much. Can't imagine why it took me so many attempts to try to learn to like it! I think that MJ is something that has improved over time and really didn't need any improving (as far as potency) Just some random thoughts on the subject. Hey--and been there, done that on the whole confiscating parent routine!

Yup... Oregon is one of em...I got curious last night & did a search & came up with 10 states that either legalize, or decriminalize it... Boy Was I Shocked... I had No Idea! WoW!!!!

I have often wondered the same thing... I mean, TECHNICALLY sure it's as bad as smoking cigarettes (If Not Worse) yet several of us that smoke have had our Drs tell us to put off quiting during TX because the stress of trying to quit on top of tx would be worse.... & that's just like some take tylenol (which is known for liver damge) & I have seen others prescribed Wellbuterin (sp) & that stuff made my liver enzimes SKY-Rocket, which is why they changed me to Zoloft... I guess as with anything else the ol individualization comes to play because it would depend on the amount of damage...ect before you would want to induce anything further taxing on the liver! Some can afford to fudge a little, while others can't even use a mouthwash that might contain the minutest amount of alcohol... I swear I think practically everything we do gets processed thru the liver at some point! What an amazing organ (one that probably isn't appreciated or thought about much till it's in jeapordy) Shish!

This is a very interested issue. Many can argue both sides of it. You might think if its helps eating, sleeping, pain management and depression can it hurt anymore than all the other drugs some might need for those issues. Than on the other hand does it really hurt the liver? I have had heard smoking does but not sure if that includes MJ.

as with any group... when you get this many people together, there's gonna be those that do, & Those that don't (regardless if it IS Legal for some)... I was in Alaska for quit some time during my TX & Could have... but didn't due to the fact that my "S.O." feels so strongly against it..... However I Have to admit, that I busted my youngest daughter (when I found some under her dresser) & what can I say... other than I confiscated it & smoked up the evidence...LoL
Personally I believe IF I had of smoked more often that I wouldn't have needed some of the other helper drugs such as the Ambian, Xanex, or Zoloft... but that's just my opinion, & being as I started off with little to no significant liver damage, I don't believe that would have been a factor for me.... (but my relationship was)... So I agree with you....I WISH I Could Have Had That Option...LoL ...
You are Not Alone...There are several in here that swear by it... but also others that are Dead against it! To each his own I say, as it is a personal choice & whom am I to critisize cause I certainly JUMPED on the opportunity with NO Regrets... Shame On ME!!! Hang In There!
