Thanks everyone! Can-do-man, I didn't know the odds were so high in his favor. That is wonderful news. Donnie54, it was a difficult time but as everyone here told me from the beginning, treat the side effects right away - don't let them get a foothold. He was almost removed from treatment the first week because he broke out in a virulent rash, but it calmed down. the biggest problem for him were the emotional/mental aspects. By the time he was finished he was on three drugs for anti-anxiety and depression. Still, he did well all things considered. Never missed a dose, was always able to take in the 20 grams of fat. He stayed on b12 and folic acid throughout treatment and his blood levels dropped but not critically. I wish you the very best as you start treatment. Thanks Jules and pooh - you all are the best!
Congratulations on the Undetectable 12 week post EOT VL. Now on to SVR>
