hi everyone ,
yes!!!... my doctor told me that i am cured !!! this is the third time i have treated and finally the words i wanted so badly to hear ..
my enzimes have been elevated for 30 years sometimes as high as 1200. my type1 a hep c had progressed to stage 2 b and my liver was inflamed beginning to be surrounded in fluid ..i felt unwell ...
so i gave it one more chance ..this time adding incivek to the interferon and riba... i was scared and a little doubtful ..it was a painful 6 months for me and six months later i am still recovering and am now being told it takes at least a year to recover from treatment ... the inflamation and fluid are gone and my enzymes have been normal ever since i stopped tx !! i have been very depressed but i know i will pull out of it as i get back into shape .. the best part is i got a job !!! life is starting to shape up all around !!
..i would like to thank everyone for helping me through this and welcome any questions or comments ...i wish you all the best !!
much love form the other side ....red

That's wonderful!! I had the most wonderful therapeutic massage post tx (three actually). Also help depression I bet! Yoga, massage, and if necessary ADs may help. Life is too beautiful not to enjoy it to the max. Happy dance for you.
thank you so much ! i cant wait to feel really good .. im not sure if i remember what that is ... but now i dont have impending doom hanging over my head .. really is a miracle to be able to rid yourself of a virus like this ...30 years ! now its gone .. i dont miss it one bit !!!!
Ah, great news!! I have always had elevated enzymes also, but 1,200 is very high indeed.
I am also thinking it will take me about a year to recover from this, that is a good way to think about it.
Just keep exercising and eating a diet high in antioxidants, to clean
out and rejuvinate your body: onwards, upwards, and ride that wave...you did it!
