so exhausted, will it improve any time soon?

I have so much brain fog, I can't even remember..., how long does the post treatment exhaustion (when you relapse I mean/or have null response), last?   Past couple of days it's been extremely bad and I've even limited alot of the extra activity in order to deal with it.  Hopefully, it will improve soon.  Came home from 4pm church service and all I wanted to do was put on my P.J.'s (which is how I am now), and go to bed.  Now, I'm not going to be at 6 pm, but that's how I feel...  Merry Christmas... Gotta say that relapse was a BIG drag.  It has to effect your mood and outlook.  Add to the mix post Tx, and we now have the Big Bang.  So........very sorry this d$$$ virus does not want to leave you alone.
With the Interferon and Riba I would guesstimate 2-4 months of not being
at your best.  The key to the entire recovery is to accept this idea and not
stress about feeling better right away.  Give your body some time to heal
emotionally and physically and only chalk up the foggyness to post EOT.
I hope the New Year will be the one.

Hey there, I agree, the tx, news of the relapse, all that you did to prepare for Christmas and then normal blues after Christmas, all normal.
The only thing I can say is that you are definitely not alone.
Most of us have been there in one form or another.
Try to continue to drink lots of water, baby yourself, don't expect to much or do too much.
I know that after I finished I felt that I had to catch up for when I was on tx and would cause huge setbacks after doing too much
I am more sorry than I can say that you are feeling so bad
My best to you
Dee

Hi Susan, it takes a really long time, I SVR'd and it seemed to last a long time. You just got bad news, that together with the holidays, can suck the energy out of anyone. Almostsixty and I were noting that the sweets and rich food does a number on us this year. My gallbladder seems really be reactive too. Too easy to overdo things, not eat right, not drink enough water. Hang in there, it will improve.
