tx thyroid and hair colors

Hello All Guys and Girls
I posted on the thread  of HelpNikki question about her hair  When I was a hair colorist we didn't have computers so I have never googled anything about hair but since Kathy's post doubted me
I got a little riffed and did some research.
What I found was if you are using permanent hair color or any color for that fact PLEASE do a patch test the directions are on the box also a test strand to see if the color will come out the way you want you must have your hair colorist or yourself perform this patch test 24 hours before you use the color if you have a reaction do not use it

I read that Thyroid problems and hair color do not mix that is not to say all hair colors but be careful  
And to the doubts that aniline derivative hair dyes cause cancer It is the main reason I quit the profession I was sick all the time
Today There are so my natural and low ammonia colors on the market these days and also Green Salons

so best on tx to pay attention to what you are putting on your head PLEASE do follow the directions on the box for patch test and strand test and INSIST your hairdresser do the same whether the color is natural or not

And please whatever you do do NOT get a Brazilian Hair Straightening - they contain FORMALDEHYDE .... I work at one of the biggest beauty biz companies in the world and my boss is the Chairman of the Professional Beauty Association.  He champions against this stuff CONSTANTLY yet people go out and pay $600 for someone to poison them. Every time thereafter you blow dry your hair particules of the formaldehyde will get into the air and into your lungs.  THEY ARE CARCINOGENS and cause cancer.

Some products say they are chemical / formaldehyde free but they are not or don't list the products (illegal but happens).

Since heppers are even supposed to stay away from paint fumes and gasoline and the like.......well I'd say it's especially bad for us.

Just an FYI - I saw it on the news again the other night and couldn't believe it is still legal to be sold / done in the USA.

I am still dying lol!    Ok what has formaldhyde in it?     You guys have to be specif, lol for us with chemo white out!   Spell it out for me!   Deb you know i am lost!
