wat to eat??

hi any ideas abt wat to eat n wat not to eat?
i understand tht one shud stay away from fat as it gets digested in liver n all but wat else, wat is gud or helpful in this state speciaaly wen stomach is messewd up n i have mouth ulcers as well
n any idea on how to deal with hair loss?

You should actually make sure to take your Ribavirin with an adequate amount of fat. Each time you take it. It aids the absorption of the Riba and also helps with the nausea.

Eat what you desire, if it is already difficult enough to deal with food and tx. It is better to eat not so healthy, than nothing at all, they say.

On treatment, eat whatever feels good and dont worry if its healthy or not. You basically want to keep our strength and weight up. As to fat, it actually helps the ribavirin absorb better which is good. I ate a lot of fat on treatment.

Unfortunately not every much you can do about the hair loss.  I lost  75 - 80% and tried every remedy known to man (work in corporate beauty biz). I stopped dying it and tried a silk pillow case and not brushing often or washing too often but nothing really worked.

Finally I just got some wigs and covered it all up. Now it's grown back and was healthier than ever (until I started bleaching it again that is) but it will come back, it's only temporary!

PS Ice cream is a fun source of fat!

same here i tried not washing or combing, but i loose so much hair each day tht its scary. my hair ws straight n way below my hips in length, but wen it started fallin out i got it cut real short, dnt ask how much i cried tht day!!!!
it seems so lifeless now, dry n dull, really hope it gets better after the treatment
n as 4 icecream well tht was oxygen to me b4 tx, n now i'm gonna load up my freezer again!!! yipee!
