Acute Hepatitis C in Canada

Hi there,
Recently a friend of mine tested 'inconclusive' for an antibody test on a routine STD screening following a sexual assault. That is they told her the results were inconclusive and further testing was needed (we are still waiting on the results) .
1) What is the standard test used for antibodies and what is the likelihood of a false positive or whatever this inconclusive is?
2) If she is positive her only risk factor would have been a sexual assault a few months ago as before that she had tested negative for Hep C. What is the treatment in Canada for acute infection and what is the remission rate?
3) I know that she did share a straw for cocaine snorting with another mutual friend (who has not been told yet as the results on the second test) what are the chances of this friend being infected from a limited exposure of a shared straw?

Thank you!
