Depression and Vison Problems

My husband of 26 yrs and I were diagnosed within a month of each other.  I started INF monotherapy, he died of end stage liver disease, June 1997. (Long story, short)  I began taking prozac after he died.  I really didn't think the depression was from INF.  I did not have a sustained response to therapy and began Rebetron in Oct. 1998.  The side effects are tremendous, but the depression is the worst.  My dr has increased the Prozac to 60 mgs and it isn't helping.  I will see a psychiatrist in a few weeks, but am wondering about your recommendations for antidepressants for depression due to Rebetron therapy.  I would like to go to this doctor with information and good questions.  The second question is about vision.  I noticed the first time on INF that my vision changed and was told by my dr that it was probably my age - I'm 47.  Now with Rebetron, my vision is so much worse.  My new dr has given me a referral to see an opthamologist.  Again, I would like to see this dr with information and intellegent questions.  I'm also not sure how familiar this dr is with HCV.  Any advice and info would be much appreciated.  Thank you, Karyl
