My querries are as follows:
From the above trends of the various test results can it be
concluded that I have Chronic Active Hepatitis B?
On 4/26/95,  Gastroenterologist had advised us Interferon Therapy
with 60-70% clearance in 1 yr - upto 50% chance of reappearance &
would require retherapy. Clearance rate of  B+ is 2% per year.
I had turned to  traditional medicines (Ayurvedic) as here they
are said to be more effective in gastric related diseases. Have
things improved since 95 in Interferon Therapy?  How effective is
Lamiwudin?  Any chance of  CHB+ getting 100% cleared?
My  SGPT on 11-27- 98 is 54.2 which I understand is near normal
of 40. I am not taking  almost any direct fats in my diet. Is
SGPT the conclusive evidence of  the status  of the lever?
Or in other words if  I keep my SGPT under control  lever damage
will be limited?
I feel  very good when I take natural fat foods like
ground nuts and  roasted  grams. Would my taking  fats in
natural form be harmful to the  lever?
After what period should I take lever function test.?
Would I have to keep away from fats life long?
Any specific advice on the diet?
My wife and son have taken vaccines. Any advice for them?
I know these are little too many questions. But I believe it is appropriate to ask an expert doc. all questions than to a general practitioner.
Thanks and awaiting your early reply,
Yours,
Santosh Shah
