Loss of Skin Pigmentation

  I have continually said I have no apparent symptoms related to my HCV. However, since being diagnosed 2 months ago, I have noticed quickly spreading patches of pigment loss especially on my back, shoulders, and chest. I'm in early stage cirrhosis, any correlation?

I was very intrigued by your question.  It is theoretically possible that your loss of pigment may be related to your hepatitis C.  Some individuals who have loss of pigment have a condition called vitiligo.  Vitiligo may be an autoimmnue condition and there is some evidence that people with hepatitis C are more predisposed to autoimmune conditions.  When I looked at the literature, I found one report of an individual with hepatitis C who also had vitiligo.  This actually isn
