Treat now or later for Hep C type 1b

Just diagnosed with Hep C type 1B, had Ultra sound, indicates no liver disease, also had a liver biopsy and it indicates I have some fibrous expansion in most portal areas with occasional portal to portal bridging, (ISHAK stage 3 of 6 at least)  no iron or PAS/D positive globules are present.  Have a great doctor at Mass General and going for second option at Beth Israel.  My HCA RNA Qant, TMA value is 13,400,000, my ALT is 67H and AST 44H.  Trying to way out my options to treat now or wait for current study that has greater success in treating my type of Help.

This one is easy! Get treated! Your biopsy is showing signficant fibrosis. You may benefit from one of the new clinical trials of the new drugs because of your high viral load. Either way, waiting would be a bad idea. Good luck! DTD
