What kind of Hepatitis

I'm not sure what my topic should be since that is really my qustion.  
I had hepatitis in ~1960 and was 10 years old.  I was put in the hospital since the doctor said I had an adult case of hepatitis.  I'm always asked by doctors which hepatitis I had, but I don't know, neither does my Mother.  The doctor is no longer practicing so I went to the hospital records department to get a copy of my records.  My records only state that I had hepatitis and not what kind it was.  
My question:  How do I find out what kind I had or was there only a certain kind in 1959 or 1960?

I enjoyed your question which is an interesting one.  You had hepatitis C as a 10 year old and you wonder what kind of hepatitis you had and probably if it is still a problem for you.
I am not sure what your physicians meant by an
