What's next?

I was already on the Pegintron-Ribavirin combo
This combination put me in the hospital three times
in a one month period. Blood transfusions each time.
Naturally I was taken off the medication.
What program is next?

I was on the Peg-Intron & riba and I was not put on enough so I have relapsed now 3 times and have place it all in the hands of these drs that know what they are doing .  I hope tat you do your homework on your drs as I found that I had to do that because they don't care what is in our best interest.  I have just been laid another bomb just a few minutes a    ago and need to find out if this is normal to see a rheumatologists now on top of all this.  
I got HCV from blood transfusion and refuse to have another one.  I don't think that they are seen screeening as welll as they say ,but let all that go to rest and you worry about yourself.
Maybe there is a trial that you can get into but really haven't heard of this happening 3 times before like this.  
What does your doctor say or do theysay anything possitive for the future?

My doctor wants me to start some new program
that just came out(what it is,I don't know)
Actually I was supposed to start this past May
I never showed up to the appointment.

I have also benn on Peg and Riba in 2003 for 8 months.  Virus is back and now have some other complications due to the Hep C.  I will be starting on the new trial for Peg, Riba nad the new protease inhibitor, but probably won't start for at least another 6 months.  Right now they are only offering the trial to patients who haven't been on tx before.
