elevated liver enzyme

about 10 months ago,my AST-50 ALT-98.I dont take any medicines except Centrum complete. The doctor prescribed hepaticum(sylimarin) and my liver enzymes returned to normal. Now, my AST-47 ALT-66. Negative for Hepatitis B and C. Normal Abdominal ultrasound.

Glad to hear that you don't have hep B or C, but maybe get a test for hep A also - just to rule that out.  Hep A can be contracted by eating at a restaurant where the food handler may not have washed his/her hands properly.

Also if you weight train or exercise real hard, at times your enzymes will be elevated - so maybe that is a possibility. The Milk Thistle is very good at helping to bring the enzymes down, but I would want to know why they were elevated in the first place. But its good your doc ruled out Hep B and Hep C.
