high Vitamin B12

Posted By Jodi B on April 16, 1999 at 07:12:37
I have recently had blood tests done, and my serum Vitamin B12 was 3180 (normal 80-600).  I then found out that last year it was already elevated at >1000.  I'm having much difficulty finding out information about elevated B12.  I've had Ulcerative colitis for 18 years, and insulin dependant diabetes for 20 years.  Any idea what could be the cause of these results?
