Use cabbage to help heal insect bites, burns or boils, and varicose veins.
A dressing of crushed cabbage leaves, promptly applied, relieves pain, speeds healing, and draws out infection. Wash the wound with boiled water and apply a dressing of crushed cabbage. Renew daily until the healing is complete.
For more serious wounds, cabbage leaves should be plunged in boiling water or soaked in olive oil for one hour to soften. This makes the cabbage cling better and increases its antiseptic effect.
Grated carrots make an excellent poultice. Boil carrots until soft, or they can be used raw. Mash to a pulp, add some vegetable oil to keep from hardening, spread on a cloth, and apply to the following ailments:
Spray V-VAX eucalyptus oil on rashes and insect bites to sooth the affected area. Allow to dry, and then repeat.
Spray V-VAX immediately on a burn. Do not rub it in. Repeat process after one hour. Apply a dry sterile dressing. Repeat application morning and evening.
Apply V-VAX eucalyptus oil to an area affected by dermatitis, and let it absorb into the skin. Not only does the oil relieve the pain, but it also aids in healing.
Whether in dried form or as ripe fruit, figs not only taste great but they are one of the highest plant sources of calcium and fiber.
Split open a fig and soak it in warm water to create a poultice. Place thin layer of gauze over affected area then apply fig poultice. Change every eight hours or twice daily.
Use a fig poultice on inflamed boils, pain, and scar tissues.
Use grapefruit seed extract to treat rashes, inflammation, acne, athlete's foot, and ear infections.
To clear up warts or treat varicose veins, take molasses internally and apply a daily poultice.
To promote speedy healing of wounds, take molasses pre- and post-surgery.
Apply peppermint oil to the skin. It helps treat itching and inflammation by softening the skin
To treat a burn, apply cold, crushed, raw potato to the area. If the potato is not cold, mix it with ice.
To treat boils, make a poultice of raw potatoes. Apply to the affected area, changing every eight hours.
Rose Hip Seed Oil:
Rose hip seed oil is an effective anti-aging and skin rejuvenation product.

* Eczemsa, psoriasis, and dermatitis
* Wrinkles and premature skin aging
* Age spots
* Brittle nails
Tea Tree Oil:
To treat the following external ailments, apply tea tree oil to the affected area.
* Athlete's foot
* Finger and toenail infections
* Cuts and abrasions
* Insect bites and stings
This is good info, I knew about potatoes, tea tree oil shampoo is good if anyone has itchy scalp ,I will try peppamint oil for the hives I get ,fig poultice sounds interesting, I like to eat figs .This must be economical aswell because these are foods most buy for our health ,thank you for this list I have written it out .
