Inguinal Hernia

I am going to the air force I leave for basic training soon but I think I have develop a inguinal hernia I don't know should I tough it out and go thru basic training or should I tell my recruiter and pay a doctor a visit. I been waiting to leave and I know if I got a hernia it's going to push me back or it might disqualify me all together and I don't want that this is my career I'm talking about I need help is it a doctor on dis *****

Hello and hope you are doing well.

Understand your predicament. You should have yourself evaluated and treated before you enroll for the training program. Hernias are caused due to increased abdominal pressure like coughing, constipation or lifting heavy objects. So, avoid all exercises which increase this pressure.
