help about hernia

my father got heart surgery 8 months before

now he is all right and his wound of cut on chest  some times is pain full.

but now he got hernia problem.

i want to ask now what we should do now.

we should again do surgery for HERNIA.

because 8 months before he got surgery for

heart bypass operation.please guide us or

what is this situation called.and what we

should do in this matter

Hi, I had a umbelical hernia repair in may of this year, and have to go for another hernia repair right away. If your concerned about the surgery and how he will recover, its a very simple easy recovery. I was sore for a few days, but not a horrible sore more just irrated. The time that i hurt the most was only when i was laying down and needed to sit up or getting up to stand up. Walking your a little bit sore but it really is not bad at all :) good luck
