The common causes for testicular pain are injury, infection and torsion. Injury can cause a tear of the testicular layers or it can cause a hematoma (blood collection). Infection can affect and cause epididymitis or orchitis resulting in pain. Testicular torsion is an emergency as the blood supply may be compromised and needs to be relieved. Sometimes a tumor of the testis can cause pain. Consult your primary care physician for therapy. If the need arises he may refer you to a urologist.
Mam by doc said its apididimytic and other is jus stress nothing more than so mam how much time is require to recover from it coz ma left1 is still lilbit swallod so nd ma doct said its f9 and he dont gave me medicine on that saying apne aap thik hojayga nd is it will affect ma future[after marriage life]????
If its due to epididymitis, it should resolve with antibiotics and anti inflammatory medications. Epididymitis could be due to a sexually transmitted infection. Here the partner also needs therapy. Check to rule out this. It should resolve with medications, so please don't worry and it will not cause problems with your sexual life.
Mam when my testicle are hanging low they look normal but as they come up some times I notice a painless lump above my left testicle in scotrum and its painless movable as when I press it it disappears what is it and even m feeling like vomiting, coughing,i did gym at home without supporter at home for some days so is it hernia??????
The painless lump if can be pushed back into the abdomen, it could be a hernia. More so if the swelling increases on coughing and decreases on lying down. Hernias are caused due to increased abdominal pressure like coughing, constipation or lifting heavy objects. So, avoid all exercises which increase this pressure. Go for aerobic exercises, like swimming or cycling. Even long walks would be beneficial.
Thanx mam nd i dnt have pain just a lil bit swealling on the left site of the scrotum its painless,it was gone from past few days but mistakelly i did gym today at home and after some time the swealling returns on the same side i have little prblm with coughing too so what it would be mam plz reply soon is it hernia then what are the risks in hernia
From your symptoms it could be hernia. Surgery is the only treatment and cure for inguinal hernias. Hernia needs to be surgically repaired to prevent complications like strangulation. The surgery is best performed as an elective surgery with all the adequate precautions, to prevent recurrence. So, as you wait for the surgery try to lose weight and if a diabetic, see that it is adequately controlled. But if you develop pain or redness or any signs of inflammation, please consult your doctor immediately.
