Herpies(herpes) 2 false positive ?

I recieved a test result of  5.00 H  for herpies (herpes) type 2. I don,t know what this means as my doctor says it was nothing to worry about. I have never had an outbreak ? Should I be concerned?

A hsv2 igg of 5 means that you have hsv2 - most likely it's genital. You need to discuss this with your partners.  The herpes handbook at www.westoverheights.com  is a good resource to learn more about herpes at.

get a conformation test to the focus herpes select test you probally had done im assuming  use a conformation test such as bio kit or have a western blot done. your igg is pretty high (i also might have a fale positive of 1.79 as well but its over 4 months and i dont have symptoms still searching for answers lol). most poeople that test positive with an outbreak their numbers are 5 and over. tha is really strange especially since you never had an outbreak it may be a false positive but in normally false positive scores happen under 3.5(even 3.0 and under) tha have false positive senitivity issues with the focus test.im on here researching false positive cases in paticular and i found at leat 25 or more cases simular to yours and mine. so if you have any questions let me know or read my blog i hope tha helps
