-IgG + IgM Results..which one really matters?

I got tested after receiving information that could potentially mean im infected and the first doctor didnt get into details but the second doctor at the same clinic said that the IgG results were negative .93 but the IgM were Positive 2.17

Its been 2 weeks and still no signs of any bumps or rashes?

Which one really matters?

The igm test for herpes is not worthwhile and should've never been drawn on you.  there is a link in the herpes health page as to why for more reading.

How long after the last time you had sex had you had the igg test done?
