1-How long does it take for herpes rash to go away after starting valtrex..i need the total time from rash to scabing to cleaqr skin.
2-Also is valtrex effective after staring 72 hours of rash and it still helps rash heal faster.

if it's a newly acquired herpes infection then yes sometimes starting valtrex several days into things is helpful. For recurrences its benefits are limited.

How long until the rash is gone varies from person to person. antivirals help to speed healing but they aren't miracle drugs.
