12 week test accuracy with Captia Elisa?

Hello, I'm about to test for hsv 1&2 at the 12 week mark. I last tested negative for both at 6 weeks after a (protected) possible encounter. I have no symptoms aside from a questionable jock itch like feeling… I've heard the sensitivity on the Herpesselect Elisa by quest labs is the most sensitive and reliable… However, the Captia Elisa test by Labcorp is more convenient and affordable at the moment. Just wondering which test I should go with? or if it makes that big of a difference given that they are both Elisa tests?? I feel like the captia should be ok, but I appreciate any opinions.

I have heard 12-16 weeks is conclusive, so I assume 12 weeks is enough, and I just want to know as soon as possible so that I can end my anxiety and have an answer. Thanks.

Hi, both are equally reliable and 3 months would be conclusive.
