2 Red pimple like marks
Let me start off , 37m. im uncurcimized. i have genital hsv-1. got it over 2 years ago. last friday i had protected sex and unprotected oral both ways. I noticed yesterday that i had 2 small pin size round red marks on my penis, almost like a tiny red pimple w/o a white head, its fairly flat. i also got the same thing 5 months ago and went away in 2-4 days. is this a outbreak or just marks from sex. how can i know if this is a recurrance.? looks nothing like a blister
I was swabbed on my initial outbreak. Got 2 blood tests a month later to confirm hsv 1
How were you diagnosed as having genital HSV1?
Could this be a recurrence? Sure. But just because you have herpes doesn't mean all that goes on down yonder IS genital herpes. Could be plain old irritation. The only way you would know if it's a herpes recurrence would to be seen within 48 hours of symptoms appearing and have the area swabbed/cultured.
