If people shed HSV2 15-20% of days in a year, why isn't the risk of contraction 15-20% per year? I mean, why is it so much lower than that? (5%)
I'd ask him specifically in that post. It's not a study that I"m familar with so ask.
I know there was a hpv study a few years back that showed 90% reduction in transmission of hpv but not one that showed that high of reduction in transmission in hsv but sometimes he has access to studies that haven't been published yet so I'd ask him.
