I am a female. I had ulcers at my viginal 2 mths ago, and we both been to  blood test (i had done 4 times untill now still dont clearly know which type HSV i have, sigh)

My partner he tested, and he is HSV1 + (igg 4.1) but HSV2 - . So I had genital outbreak (3 times since primary OB) and my last tested result (after 2mths of primary OB) is HSV1 - but HSV2 + with result Igg 1.9 (range >0.9).

I dont know about my ex bf HSV status but i never have any OB before I met my current partner. My question is

1. My partner is HSV1 + but he dont have any symp. how do we know he if is genital HSV1 or not?
2. What is the diff between GHSV1 and HSV2? Same type of virus attack?
3. If i get my GHSV1 / HSV2 from current partner, can I said that it pass through oral sex ? because he had only HSV1.
4. So when he kiss/lick on other part of my body, what is the chances that other part of my body will get HSV ? ie. neck, nipple , back
5. If I get the HSV2 from my ex bf (been together for 6yrs), then why when at my 1st OB , my blood test result for igg still 0 and then slowly increse ? It must be already have some figure there. am' i right?
6. If the virus had been shedded in my body over the years without any sypm. then why recently the virus become active ? What make it activated ?

Really hope somebody can help here. Herpes ''theories'' are so confusing .......

Thanks

like I said in your other posts, you need to be seen when you have symptoms for testing of symptoms.   once you know what is going on, we can better help you most of your questions.
