Am I at risk of herpes?
hello madam,im 23 years male. I had oral and vaginal sex with escort in paris 37 days ago! i think she was brazilian. it was with condom. but i kissed and licked around vagina (upper part of vagina, the part above clitoris, hairy part) i did not lick any fluid from vagina. but i kissed and licked skin surface for one minute. it was skin surface with hairs. escort kissed and licked my balls for some moments. i have some questions:
1. due to kissing and licking near her genital area, if she had/have genital herpes in past/present, can i get hsv 2 or hsv 1 infection at mouth? how much percentage is risk of herpes?
2. due to her kissing and licking at my balls, whats risk of getting hsv1 or hsv2 infection near genital area?
2. when will be the primary symptoms of hsv2 and hsv1 infection show up? after how many days?
3. Is hsv1 and hsv2 infection symptomatic or asymptomatic in general?
till now i don't have any visible blisters or ulcers near mouth or genital area. i tested for herpes (EIA diasorin igg and igm test), syphilis, hiv duo test after 21 days. all were was negative. at the begining of this week i had quite red, watery eyes than normal and heavy feeling at corner of the left eye for 2-3 days. Dr. Jose from expert forum said it is not ocular herpes. in the beginning of this week. Little pain in lower left thigh for one day. but it disappeared in one day after taking rest.
4. When should I get tested for herpes for conclusive results?

The chances of getting oral hsv 2 in this experience is very low indeed.
Not everyone with herpes gets symptoms so I can't answer that fully
A test at 8 weeks would give you about 75 percent accuracy

Labs say my igg is "0" but my iu says 1.09 . I need to get retested in 14-20days for hsv. Can having chkn pox and a form of herpes as a newborn make this look like that I hav hsv? No h/o of bo's.
I work in radiology. We see people for lumbar mri's for the symptoms you previously mentioned. Could b nerves but it also can mean u hav a pinched nerve. At the base of your lumbar is a bundle of nerves like spaghetti. So usually most doctors like to check there first to rule out any abnormalities. Good luck 2u!

Anyone with answers that can try to help me would be great. Almost three weeks ago, I was with an escort and I had vaginal sex with her for about five minutes. During that time, I used a condom. At this point, I have not had any of the traditional symptoms. However, my right leg seems to be tingling and my foot sometimes feels like it is on fire. What are the chances that I could have picked up herpes from this woman? My leg pain seems to subside at night and I am starting g to believe if this is just anxiety. My last questions are:
Would I have had lesions by now?
Is getting a pcr test a good idea after three weeks or should I wait longer?
I'm extremely scared and wondering why this pain in my leg won't go away.

thanks a lot for your answer. the test was for both the types of herpes. hsv1/2 igg test (antibody structure) and hsv1/2 igm eia diasorin test (as mentioned on result paper).

Honestly, I think your risk of acquiring either HSV 1 or HSV 2 in this situation are quite small. The scrotum is pretty thick skin unlike the penis, so even the oral sex in my mind presents little risk. If you have ever in your life had a cold sore, it is extremely unlikely you would get HSV 1 at a new place. You didn't mention if you were actually tested for both types of herpes or not.
If someone is going to have symptoms with a new infection, they usually appear within 2-10 days, and they would be sores or blisters, most often. I agree that your eye issue sounds nothing like herpes.
A test done at 4 months will be accurate for the vast majority of people.
