Anal Fissure, tearing, now herpes???

Wed., I started my menstrual cycle. Now, normally, I have BM 3-4 times a day with occasional pain. On Wed, it felt like I "ripped." I thought the pain would go away and I'll be fine in a day or two.

Well, Thursday and Friday came, no BM and so much pain when I tried, I was screaming on the toilet. I took a laxative and later had a painful but gratefull BM. Then, I noticed my urine burned and I thought I may have a Kidney and/or Bladder Infection.

All day Saturday and night, I drank green tea and bottled water.

On Sunday, I was writhing in pain. I drank a jug of 100% Cranberry juice and snacked very lightly. Also, I took more laxative b/c I hadn't had a BM since that one time Friday night.

Today, I go to the doctor and she says I MAY have herpes... WHAT????? I kinda freaked out. She's not 100% sure and doesn't want me to freak out... lol. A little late for that. Plus, she wants me to go to a surgeon for my anal fissure. Great, guess I get to spread em' for another stranger.

Now, I have been faitful to my partner for three years. And, he the same. Now, let me tell you how my "area" looks.

The area between my vagina and anus is very swollen and painful. My anus feels as though it is ripped. The scary part is that there are some bumps around the anus and a few bumps on the outside of my vagina that resemble hairbumps. I DO NOT engage in anal sex. Also, my partner doesn't have any bumps. I feel so raw down there and the only time my vagina bumps hurt is when I wipe. I'm sorry I've been so graphic!!!

If anybody can help with info, please do so. I am so upset and so scared right now.

If you are having pain and need to be seen before your appointment thursday then call your provider and make arrangements to be seen earlier.

when you get test results back we can better help you with the herpes issues if indeed that is what you have.

No itching whatsoever. I cannot have a BM without laxative and when I urinate it burns a good bit. But, she said there was no infection in my urine. I just don't know. Thursday still seems so far away.

Herpes doesn't have pus they would presentas a cluster of fluid filled blisters that would itch and be painful initially,at this stage I would still lean towards it all being linked to the irritation of so many bowel movements and the inflammation of the anal fissure.
But do take whatever advice your doctor is giving until a definate diagnosis is reached.

I got a mirror a few minutes ago and I don't see any bumps. One red bump on my right buttock but, no pus. The few bumps on the outside of my vagina did not have pus and I cannot see them now. I still feel tender when I wipe. I ALWAYS wipe front to back. Thank you Daisy. I feel about a 20 percent relief.

I just noticed you said you have a BM 3-4 times a day ..... I'd say that was a bit more than what is regarded as normal I'd say that along with the gurgling in your stomach could suggest IBS ......

I think the anal fissure could be responsible for a lot of the discomfort your feeling, also sometimes we can actually have reactions to our own faeces, now i am going to be graphic lol be sure you wipe front to back always otherwise germs from a BM can enter the urethra and cause urine infections women have much shorter Urethras than men so are more prone to infection there which is why it is important to wipe properly,it might be an idea to use wet wipes for a bit ....
I don't think you should be freaking about Herpes at this stage, although it would be wise to be tested just to be sure .....
