Asymptomatic Shedding/Prodrome

During asymptomatic shedding or the Prodrome stage of genital HSV infection (either HSV1 or HSV2) would you be able to see flaking little pieces of dead skin? I don't have a diagnosis of genital herpes but I've been getting tingling and itching sensations in my lower pubic area, new my penis shaft. It's is on both the left and right sides, with a burning/stinging feeling more on the right side; which gets worse when I wipe my fingers across it. Also, the back of both of my upper legs are sore and hurt. I've heard all of these can be Prodromal symptoms, and I was just wondering if that flaky dry skin was due to the Prodrome or asymptomatic herpes shedding, since I'm seeing this flaky dry skin exactly where I felt these sensations at. no it does not cause actual shedding of the skin.

you know you don't have hsv2.

I know grace, but I worry about genital HSV1 infection...What else could cause these symptoms? I am more worried about the right side of my genital region...it tingles/stings and almost has a burning feeling to it. It also feels like this when I wipe my hand over the area. This in accordance with my sore legs makes me believe I have a genital hsv1 infection. Also, the glands in my groin feel tender/swollen...you can't see any obvious pea sized lumps, but the whole area just feels tense and swollen and hurt. Also, the glands in my armpit are swollen and tender and hurt. Could this all be symptoms of anxeity and stress and OCD?

I'd also like to add that my lower and mid back (on my right side) is aching.

Also, my neck hurts and is sore...i can't really classify it as a sore throat or just sore neck/throat muscles.

this sounds far more like a fungal infection going on than a std.

your  neck and back are probably sore from all the advanced yoga positions you are assuming to check out your nether regions all the time from your anxiety about all of this!

What about my legs? I'm sorry...i always put myself in these positions and never have sore legs

But you don't think I have genital herpes, either hsv1 or hsv2? Even with my sore legs?
