Atypical symptoms?...

Hey Everybody!

I had sex (mostly protected, but partially unprotected....oops) with a girl three nights ago, and I understand that's a very convenient time for symptoms to start cropping up. Likewise, since I've come down with what seems to be a mild upper-respiratory infection, I understand that could be why I feel a bit gross, but what I don't understand is why I have such intense pain on my perineum. I have no lesions or sores or whatnot on my penis, but on the spot where my gooch meets my butthole I have an small, but incredibly painful red line. It doesn't tingle or itch, but feels raw, as if it's just really painful intertrigo (which I've had before, just not there). I have been wearing tight pants for the past two days, so perhaps that's why, but it seems to be getting worse (though that could also be because I hadn't touched it until recently). I'm prone to anxiety, so even though I'm sure this isn't anything, as the girl says that she's never had herpes symptoms and was tested for everything (though I know herpes isn't included in the screening panel) after she last had sex back in January, its a bit nerve-wracking....

you should be seen and get your symptoms looked at.

Do you worry about herpes every time that you have sex that you post about it here?
