Autoinoculating

I think I am causing myself more and more problems because now my palms are burning. I been taking the acyclovir but I think I am inoculating because I probably put my hand in my mouth and I got the lightly coated white tongue w/lesions on it. My skin on my face looks so dry that you can see all the pores . I have that scaley looking skin in my creases.

I got a cortisone shot last week which I thought seemed to help. But geez it just seems as if I keep on getting different things. I know a lot of the apparent ob's are stress related because I have been freaking out thinking I have HIV or something. I was tested but only 1 month after my last encounter.

Although, I have no reason to believe I am at a very low risk, I have never had unprotected sex w/any of these ladies in the past year, never shared any needles, never done drugs, only had unprotected oral sex.

So yes between my anxiety and stress of no job and having all these symptoms I'm making matters worse.  So other than taking the acyclovir to help reduce the ob's any other information.

Also, I don't know if its a side effect from the acyclovir or what but I have had some minor pain in my peck and lower ab.  I know that most is the lymph nodes swelling in those areas or so it seems. I have the heavy arms, and tight chest which is annoying but not overly painful.

I have no other suggestions. Professional care, preferably by a dermatologist, is the only solution. Or just believe your own doctor. Whatever is going on certainly isn't herpes and certainly isn't serious.

So then what would be your suggestion, I am unable to see a dermatologist and  Dr passed it off as dry skin. I'm just worried because I'm seeing/experiencing different things.

OK, understood. However, that's not the cause of any of the symptoms you have been asking about. You have an asymptomatic HSV1 infection (just like a hundred million other people in the United States) plus other cause(s) of your symptoms.

There's really nothing to add to your previous thread. As best I recall, you don't even know for sure you have HSV. Have you had a blood test? But even if positive for either HSV1 or HSV2, there is no way that herpes is the cause of the symptoms you describe.

Autoinoculation can occur during the initial infection with herpes. It almost never happens once someone has been infected for more than a few weeks or months.

Neither herpes nor acyclovir are plausible explanations for your symptoms.

Good luck.
