Back pain associated with herpes

Hi Everyone

I am a male and I have had protected vaginal and unprotected oral sex with a lady about two months ago. I do not know what her std status was. I have not had any herpes symptoms in terms of blisters, fever or swollen lymph at all. I have however started to develop some lower back pain and some pain in the upper part of the buttocks. All on the same side. The pain started about two weeks ago and has gotten worse after I played some sports a few days ago. The pain is similar to the feeling you get after an injection into the buttocks. Could this pain be  associated with herpes? Is herpes associated back/buttocks pain always followed by visible symptoms or can it occur in isolation?

Another question I have is, what are the chances of herpes transmission when unprotected oral sex and protected vaginal sex occurred but the condom broke? This was an isolated incident  that happened a week ago.(The back pain started before this incident).

Thanks in advance!

Your buttock pain is not herpes related. Any symptoms would be on your penis shaft area or your pubic mond area from a first time exposure.

If she did not have any genital sores at the time your risk is close to zero from a one time affair.
