Bad Choice

I am 53 years old female and found out I had HSV2 five years ago after a severe outbreak. I obstained from sex sence then with very minimal outbreaks, I cann't remember the last time I had one.  I felt like I wanted to strat dating so I began suppersive Acyclovir 400mg twice daily theropy two months ago. I started dating someone and one eveing did the unthinkable got cought up in the moment and had unprotected sex before I told him about my virus.  I have not had an outbreak sence then, but I feel VERY guilty.  I like him very much and am going to talk to him before we have sex agian.  I hope he will be understanding. Before I do talk to him I would like to know what are the chances that I could have infected him.

it's not likely at all that you transmitted the virus to him.

definitely talk to him about herpes and all other std's and go from there. Keep in mind that it's not all about what you know you have, it's what he might have also that you have now exposed yourself to too.
