Boyfriend issue

My boyfriend said that he has a round bump that had pus in it near his penis. I do not have this and never have. He said he felt a burning feeling and then it appeared. It was only one. What could this be? He does not have any on his penis just in the hair near the base of the penis. Can someone help me...
