Bump on my lip

I have a big bump directly on my lip. I looked up symptoms of herpes and I'm not sure if it's that. It's one big bump that's making my lip a little numb. It's not in a cluster of bumps just one big bump. I also have a toothache so I'm not sure if it has anything to do with that. Please help!!!

To rule out herpes get tested. It would be best to have it swabbed but should be within 48 hours after appearing. But a blood test would be helpful as well. Bottom line is if your sexually active knowing your herpes status would be benificial as having hsv1 oral can be passed to someones genital area with oral sex.

There is no clear liquid it's just a big painful bump that's been there for about 2 days now.

Hi, since its estimated that upwards of 65% of the adult pop would test positive for hsv1 oral, it just very well may be, but of course only testing would confirm. If its has clear liquid center would also infer this.
