Burning Lips/Mouth

Hi
8 Days ago i gave unprotected oral sex and protected anal to a random male. The following morning it started with a burning sensation inside my mouth more so on my tounge.
As this progressed i got a white spot on each toncill, Doctor said this is tonsil stones - few days later the white things came off, But the burning sensation remained. Doctor thought that the tonsil stones are linked with a infection in the mouth possibly viral. Have been assured that this CANNOT be HIV but i am increasingly terrified it could be. I also have aches and pains in my muscles and feel tired fairly often, pain in my testicles also occur sometimes.
Could this be Herpes ? it has been 8 days since possible infection so should i have seen sores by now ?

to be honest im in the mind frame that i got a throat infection of sourts which occured the following day and have also caught something else hence the symptoms starting to really show now. I have been to my doctor but to be honest i get the feeling they don't have the time nor care. It seems to be a more of a get you in and out sorta thing.

a newly acquired std will not cause symptoms the next day.

have you followed up with your provider again since you have continued symptoms?
