Hi there. Your question has been answered. You had very little risk and what you are experiencing does not sound herpes related. You may see your doctor for confirmation but there is nothing to add to this thread so we are now closing it. We wish you the best!

It's just a red burning feeling in the skin of the scrotum. The testicles aren't painful whatsoever. Why do you ask?
It is just the skin, or do you feel pain the testicals?
Probably. Like I said your exposure is not a high risk exposure. Even with a sex worker. Try not to over think it. Your use of protection is very effective. Not 100% but for a single exposure like this it's darn close. Try not to stress
Okay thank you. Even with the Valtrex, would I have noticed any lesions anyway?
Your odds of contracting hsv from that exposure is so low it doesn't warrant much worry at all. No need for valtrex as I don't see a real risk here.
I am also fully aware that I have hsv1 if that makes a difference
She gave valtrex because I told her I was worried it might be fungal.
I drunkenly went to one of those Asian massage parlors and received protected oral and protected vaginal. The vaginal (protected and done with lots of lube applied to herself) lasted about 5 minutes before I realized this wasn't enjoyable whatsoever. I was then Given a rather vigorous handjob which lasted 5-7 minutes before I had her stop and got dressed to get the hell out of there. The next day I was so guilt ridden that I noticed a tingling sensation on the tip of my penis but figured it was due to the intense handjob, I was also in a swimming pool for about 30 minutes if that makes any difference. Day 2 after exposure I noticed a long rash in the skin folds of the area between my groin and leg. I started to panic but it was too late at night to do anything about. The next morning I rushed to urgent care when the doctor said it looked fungal (I've also had 5 other doctors tell me the same thing) and she prescribed me valtrex, antibiotics, and some fungal cream. I've been taking the valtrex, antibiotics, and applying the cream twice a day since then. The rash is almost gone but I feel like there could definitely be more to this situation. I have also experienced the symptoms I've described to you in similar posts as well.
I would stop taking it. What exactly was your exposure
So should i stop taking the valtex or continue taking it?
I really don't like when doctor's do that. I guess it's a waitress and see kinda thing. You can get the area that's irritated swabbed and person tested. Or wait twelve weeks and test
I should have mentioned that my doctors put me on Valtrex 2 days after exposure. Will this postpone the first outbreak or will it only suppress it. Please help me out on this one. I know I've overstepped a little bit but I could really use some insight here.
3-10 days and in rare cases out to 20 days
How soon after exposure do you start experiencing the symptoms of herpes 2?
The testicle is rarely infected due to the thick skin. I know your full of stress over this but it is unrealistic to think you have hsv
Can herpes even form on the teaticles?
I know that I am asking a lot of questions and being a little repetitive but I do really appreciate all of your help and insight. It's a very nerve racking time in my life and I can't believe how stupid I can be sometimes. Thank you again.
Herpes does not act this way.
If I used a condom, there's no way that skin to skin contact could cause burning urination? It's really more of a mild discomfort than anything else. But I am urinating more that usual and the stream is a little abnormal. Strength of it varies but the stream isn't smooth. The burning sensation is back in my testicles and penile head. I would really just like to rule out herpes.
If you had lesions in the urethra then there is a good chance you will have white blood cells in the urine. White blood cells indicate an infection of some kind. The heightened awareness justvm3ans you are worried and focused on any sensation. These could be normal sensations that normally go unnoticed.
Again nothing you describe sounds like hsv at all. If your sexual encounters were condom protected then I highly doubt it's an std of any kind. You can always go and get an std screening. It might make you feel better
Well uti tests look for white blood cells and if you had a hsv outbreak in your urethra you would have wbc in your tested urine. Again you have a heightened awareness that isn't helping.
No. Herpes itches when scabs are healing or right before an outbreak that is not the primary outbreak. For a primary outbreak all you will really notice is lesions and it can also have fever, body aches and swollen groin lymph nodes. Nothing you describe sounds like hsv.
Constipation usually wouldn't cause burning. You may want to see your Dr as you may be getting a uti. Herpes is not the cause of your issue. Like Life360 said it's probably jock itch or even dry skin. It is summer and with heat comes these types of things. I work in the heat and it happens.
Does herpes always itch? Or is it both? And can constipation also cause a burning sensation while peeing?
