Burning sensation at shaft of penis

Two weeks ago I had protected sex with a girl. She also gave me unprotected oral sex.

About 4 days ago I began to feel a warm, almost burning sensation at the base of the shaft of my penis. I went to my doctor and she could not see anything that showed it was an STD. No bumps, no redness, nothing like that. Though it does not test for herpes, I took a urine test and will find the results out tomorrow.

Is there any chance this could be herpes HSV2? I'm really freaking out about it.

Lots if people who have herpes and other std have no signs and you can also get herpes and some other std from just skin on skin contact.  I'm facing a similar situation.

I should also note- as far as she knows, she does not have herpes and has never had an outbreak or anything like that.
