Can A Herpes Outbreak Occur On Your Leg??

Lately things have been good no visible outbreaks, been eating healthier, taking my acyclovir daily and getting the proper amount of sleep just trying to do everything I can too prevent any further outbreaks. I haven't had any blisters or sores or anything remotely close to an outbreak on my genital, but around my inner thigh about an inch or two above my knee I've had a rash of some sort kinda looks and feels like a bug bite. It itches, but I do not scratch it. I've had it covered up for a day as I am fearful it might be an outbreak, but am not sure. There are a few red dots around the area. No visible blisters or raised skin just flat red dots about 4 or 5 of them. Could this be an outbreak or is it all in my head. The more I think about it the more I start to think and feel like every itch or bump I get is the herpes coming out and I'm scared I might transfer it. I do not like thjnkng and feeling this way any advice would
be greatly appaciated!

I wouldn't go that far. Like I said. It's rare that this happens. If you have an outbreak you're positive is an outbreak then ok but not even bump, pimple...etc.
When I say this is rare I mean rare!! Like if this were me I wouldn't be concerned unless it's in the boxer shorts region.

It is possible but highly unlikely. I have had people with genital hsv have outbreaks on the lower thigh and even the lower leg but again this is pretty rare. I also totally agree with your statements about being overly aware when the worry of a pending outbreak creeps into the mind.
Congrats on your cleaner diet and life style.

So should I treat any rash or bump or anything that appears on my leg or thigh as an outbreak just as a precaution?? This is still pretty new to me and have been trying my best to learn as much info as possible on how to prevent transmission to my partner and possibly other parts of my body.
